Shadow and Smudge

Shadow and Smudge came to us  as wee babies living outdoors.  They required bottle feeding as they were so young. Look at them now. Happy to report they have now found a home together!

Update on Hidey formerly Panda

So nice to see updates on our Alumni ”Hidey was Panda at adoption.. 1.5 years ago. Look how handsome he has become!

Update on Gary and Harriet

Harriet formerly Calypso and Gary both had precarious starts to their lives. Harriet’s mom was killed by a predator and Gary wandered the streets for over a year with eyes so badly infected he was blinded in one of them. Well look at them now. Adopted at separate times into the same family they have clearly bonded. If not rescued Harriet would have been gearing up for her first litter of kittens out in this cold and I am pretty sure Gary would have succumbed to his infection. It truly makes my day to see how well everyone is doing..

Update on Sophie formerly Henny

Henny came to us as a pregnant stray. Spayed and adopted a few years ago. Received this update ”This is Sophie who used to be Henny She came to Fixed Furlife as a pregnant stray about 7-8 years old. Sweet and loving.”

Sprinkles

So Happy to report that Sprinkles who had severe Mastitis on admission has fully recovered. After many months of treatment, surgeries to remove her entire mammary chain and Spay she has bounced back beautifully. She went off to her new home yesterday and settled in immediately with her new family...

Fuzzbert

A beautiful Picture of Fuzzbert ( Red White) and his new brother Harry. Fuzzbert‘s mom was a pregnant stray. All were brought to FFL and would most likely be a breeding statistic or worse. I love seeing these updates!

Update on Miss Princess

From Princess’s owner Miss Princess, currently 9 yrs, came home on Jan 30th, 2019 Where do I even begin with her circumstances? Rescuced from same home as Mr Peanuts with his rotted teeth who suffered a broken jaw when removing and was full of infection. As was Princess who had no immunity when she arrived. First time she was placed on my bed she didn't know what to do with herself - she must've rolled side to side in pure ecstasy for over 45 minutes. I don't think she'd ever had catnip toys before either, at least that's how she acted when she got her first yeowww catnip crinkle winged butterfly - so much cat drool! Turns out she's not grey afterall but is a beautiful white cotton ball of fluffy mushy love and purrs when all groomed and dolled up 💜 I've never had a cat be this physically affectionate and constantly by my side, she must be making up lost time and I'm totally ok with this! Everyone says she's lucky to have found me but really I'm more blessed to have her.

Maggie

Little Maggie came to us as owner could no longer care for. We had her spayed and found her a wonderful home. Shown here quite settled in that new home. Just enjoying a lazy afternoon...

Update on Stella

“Stella (the kitty in the picture) says thank you Brad for the amazing photos... you were so kind and gentle, and I am excited for the next round of photos! She also wants to thank Santa at Pet Valu for being so nice and she hopes she gets what’s on her Christmas list! I personally want to thank you, Fixed Furlife, for giving me the chance to adopt this bundle of happiness and energy... she fills everyone’s hearts with her chit chats and cuddles😁❣️”
