Thelma

Thelma  was rescued from a hoarding situation. Her mom had rejected her and her sister Louise. They are presently 3 weeks old and being bottle fed.

Mei Mei

Mei Mei is a 2 year old Persian  Lynx Point Himalayan female. She and her housemate Ollie are very bonded and must be adopted together. They will be spayed and neutered prior to adoption. An owner surrender. Owner was no longer able to care for them.

Ollie

Ollie is a 2 year old Flame Point Persian Himalayan boy. He and his housemate Mei are very bonded and must be adopted together. They will be spayed and neutered prior to adoption. An owner surrender. Owner no longer able to care for them.

Daphne

Daphne is a 3 year old girl whose elderly owner could no longer care for. Pregnant on admission. She has weaned her kitten Willie however he is VERY bonded with her and we would like to find them a home together. Daphne is now spayed and has had a full dental and extractions due to the poor condition of her teeth.

Mr Gray

Hello, my name is Mr Gray.  I am a good boy (according to my foster mom).  Once I am comfortable, I like a cuddle, love to play (anything on a string!), and even gently wrestle. I also get the zoomies and love to be chased (once I trust you).  My foster mom thinks I am hilarious and sweet - a gentle boy (don’t let the “death stare” fool you, I am a bit of a teddy bear).  I have a big heart and am very loving and have the potential to become deeply attached.  I trill and purr and like to communicate with my humans.    I am between two and three years old and very healthy - and smart!  I am a former street kitty transformed into a household kitty.  I like calm and will probably want to be where you are and curl up near you on the floor or a chair.  I am also a big fan of window sills - I love looking outside and curling up there if it is deep (you will need to move your plants ;-).  My foster mom thinks I might like to have a buddy (cat not dog) too if they are laid back and accepting - someone I could play with and keep company with.  I did have a buddy kitty out on the street but they disappeared in October.   I am looking for a household that is calm and patient - I am going to need some time to adjust to being around you (new people are a little scary and I may need to hide for a few days - just coming out at night - until I know it is safe).  Please let me have some time and space and I will come to you when I am ready.  It took a couple of weeks for me to come to my foster mom, she just let me be until I was ready.   I have also been able to adjust to my foster mom going to work each day but I do like company and would love a home with a couple and even better, a couple where someone works from home.  Then I feel safe and will probably just spend my afternoons snoozing near you.  I’d love some outdoor time as well but it would need to be in a caged area otherwise you would lose me.   I have been an indoor kitty for about three months.  I like my routines.  I figured out the litter box on day 2 and the cardboard scratching post which I like to use, shortly after.  I am not big on cat beds, don’t see the point - I prefer armchairs and your bed ;-)   I would not do well in a household with young children handling me or making a lot of noise.   If there are children in the home, they would need to be older and calm, kind, and patient.  They would need to be able to give me the space I need.  My temperament is probably better suited to a couple or small family with adult children at home. 

Rylie

Rylie  came to Fixed Fur Life after she and her  3 siblings  were rescued from the outdoors.  She has a cute little head tilt. She will be available for adoption once Spayed and vaccinated.

Riddley

Ridley came to Fixed Fur Life after he and his 3 siblings  were rescued from the outdoors. He will be available for adoption once neutered and vaccinated.

Ryker

Ryker came to Fixed Fur Life after he and his 3 siblings  were rescued from the outdoors. He sustained an injury to his nose while living outdoors. It has healed leaving a little malformation of his nostril. It does not cause him any difficulty.

Carmela

Carmela came to Fixed Fur Life as a stray. She was the mother of the 5 kittens we took in awhile ago. Two of which were missing a back leg. They have all been adopted. Carmela is now spayed. She has a very sweet personality but is scared in new environments.  She would do best in a quiet home.

Mufasa

Our handsome Mufasa is finally ready to find a home. For those of you who don’t remember who he is here is his story. We took him in when was just 5 weeks old from a barn where he had wandered into the goat pen and sustained a spinal injury. He was left without the use of his back legs and ended up losing one of them. He is incontinent and wears a diaper. He is the sweetest most loving little guy and his disability does NOT slow him down! He runs and plays unaware he is disabled. He would need a home with someone who understands his disability and is able to provide the care he needs. If you think that may be you then please message me. He picked out this tie for his photo op hoping he would catch someone’s eye.

Ginger

Ginger is a senior girl whose owner could no longer care for. She is spayed and 11 years young. Very sweet and social. She requires a thyroid medication each am. The medication is not expensive and she is VERY easy to pill.

Teddy

Late one night, a little cat named Teddy was discovered, sitting in a ditch, frail and abandoned. Her coat was dirty and matted, her spirits were low, and she was far from well. It was a heartbreaking sight, but little did Teddy know that her story was about to take a beautiful turn.

However, when her chip was scanned, the information provided led to a dead end. The world she once knew had changed, but her spirit remained unbroken. Her name was Teddy, and she was 11 years old.

When Teddy found her way to FFL, her condition raised concerns. She was diagnosed with "Megacolon," likely the result of untreated constipation. But with each passing day, her strength grew, and she began to heal. Teddy has been under our care for over a year now, and with the dedication of our team, she's managed with twice-a-day medication. Her resilience is nothing short of extraordinary.

One thing you should know about Teddy is that she's not just a survivor; she's a lover. Teddy is a true lap cat, adoring the warmth and attention of her human. There's a gentle spark in her eyes when she's being pampered, a testament to her appreciation for love.

While Teddy is content with her own company, she can coexist with other cats, as long as it's on her terms. She appreciates her personal space but wouldn't mind a feline friend who understands her need for autonomy.

Teddy's journey has been one of heartache and healing, of resilience and love. She's shown us the incredible strength that lies within, and now she's ready for the next chapter of her life—a chapter filled with love, care, and the warmth of a forever home.

Norma

Norma came to Fixed Fur Life as a pregnant stray. Her kittens have weaned and been adopted. She will be Spayed prior to adoption.

Sugar and Snow

Sugar and Snow have graduated from our intake area and are now in a room of their own. Super sweet but super shy they need a quiet home together where new owner will be patient with their shyness during their transition. Truly sweet natured girls! Mother and daughter.
