Beautiful update for Kota and Josie now Maverick and Charli
“I adopted 2 cats from pet valu Trenton . The first was Maverick ( formally known as KOTA I believe.) he was the last of his siblings and although I wasn’t looking for a cat, meeting him and bringing him home is exactly what was supposed to happen. He saved me as much as I saved him. Covid and the isolation that came with it created a loneliness I didn’t fully grasp until I brought him home. We’ve been attached to eachother ever since. I knew he loved cats after having him around my sisters and knew he would love a friend: I was cautious as I wanted to make sure it was another cat around his age and also wanted to wait for the one who would need us like we wanted them. I adopted Charli ( formally Josie ) a year later .. this June. She rubbed my face with her paw when I saw her and I just knew she would fit in. She is a year older than maverick but they love to chase eachother around and even have started to cuddle. I hope and wish more people realize that even though you may not be actively looking for a pet , sometimes they are looking for you. Keep your heart open❤️”
