Doggie and Human Etiquette for those Walking their dogs

 

1)  All dogs must be on a leash no longer than 6 feet.

2)  Walkers must "stoop and scoop" after their dogs - plastic bags will be provided.

3) Consider the age of your pet before bringing him/her.  Young animals and seniors can tire and overheat more easily.  Consider the shorter route around the park or a stroller for your pet!

 
4) If your pets are aggressive or timid with other animals or people or children then this is not a good place for them to be! We must strongly enforce this for the safety of your pet and others. Consider bringing pictures of your pet and walking on their behalf.

5) All participating dogs should be under the control of its master at all times.

6) When you give your dog treats, do so in a way that doesn't inadvertently cause fights with greedy onlookers or other dogs who may be food aggressive.
